It's early morning, and it's cold and rainy outside. This time I was smart enough to bring a waterproof jacket. It's not always sunny and warm in Soithern France in July, no matter what the travel agencies say.
I forgot to add yesterday that I could see the Pyrenees form the train yesterday, and there is still snow up there!
I'm leaving for Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port this morning where the pilgrimage starts. I don't expect to have Internet access for the next two days until I teach Rocenvalles on the Spanish side of the mountains, where there is supposedly free WiFi.
